The court will hear the arguments on the quantum of the sentence on May 26.

The monsoon session of Parliament began on July 19 and is scheduled to conclude on August 13. OP Chautala has asserted that the three farm laws should be withdrawn. The farmers have been protesting since November 26 last year at the different borders of the national capital.

Delhi High court on Wednesday (December 18) set aside the state government order that denied the early release of former Haryana Chief Minister OP Chautala. 

A Delhi court today said it would pronounce on February 9 its order on CBI's plea seeking permission to file a list of additional witnesses to prove documents in a disproportionate assets case lodged against former Haryana Chief Minister O P Chautala.

 Delhi High Court on Monday will hear the plea filed by Haryana`s former chief minister OP Chautala seeking a six month-parole on health grounds, who is serving a 10-year jail term in the Junior Basic Training (JBT) teachers` recruitment scam case.

The Delhi High Court will on Wednesday proceed with the hearing on the parole application of Haryana`s former chief minister OP Chautala in the Junior Basic Training (JBT) Teacher`s recruitment scam case.

The CBI has been slapped with a cost of Rs 5,000 as "deterrence" by a special court for repeatedly seeking permission to submit additional documents in a disproportionate assets case involving INLD chief OP Chautala's son Abhay.

OP Chautala has in the past run a vitriolic campaign against Congress' first family and levelled serious charges against Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.

AAP has been alleging that LG Najeeb Jung was showing "undue interest" in OP Chautala getting parole.

Stepping up its offensive, Aam Aadmi Party on Friday challenged Lt Governor Najeeb Jung to deny that he had received another parole request from former Haryana Chief Minister OP Chautala and had "pressurised" Delhi Home Minister Satyendra Jain to approve it.

An official said that Chautala had filed a fresh plea on October 16 after his first plea for parole was rejected by LG on October 5 earlier this month.
