Now pensioners can get digital life certificates using a web or mobile application ‘Jeevan Pramaan’. The move aims to promote the use of digital life certificates for pensioners through the latest face recognition technology. Life certificates is an important activity to be carried out by pensioners every year in the month of November.

Pensioners will be provided with a revised pension with effect from April 1, 2022. The Rajasthan government had recently announced the restoration of the old pension scheme for government employees. Following Rajasthan, the Chhattisgarh government also took the step.
