Since Greece bought Rafale fighter jets, Turkey has been on edge. India’s success against Turkey’s drones has hit Ankara’s defense industry hard that has lost billions of dollars.

This is the first time India’s top defence official has openly acknowledged any kind of tactical flaw in the mission.

Indian Air Force exercise continues. Many big deadly fighter jets and fighter aircraft are participating in this exercise. One of them is this 36th Rafale which can become the enemy's time.

After tension with China, the Indian Army is fully deployed on the border. Meanwhile, France has handed over the 36th fighter aircraft of Rafale consignment to India. Rafale is such a deadly aircraft that it can reach the LAC within minutes from its base.

"First jet aircraft were supplied in 1950s k/a 'TOOFANI' and since then, we have been cooperating on Jaguar, Mirage 2000 and now Rafale," said Emmanuel Lenain. "We feel that we are a country of the region. We feel we are India's neighbour," he added.

This is the second such agreement that the Indian Air Force has signed for buying okayed airframes. The French Air Force has been replacing its old fleet of Mirages with new Rafale fighter jets.

IAF chief, Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria on Tuesday said that an ‘uneasy status’ prevails at northern frontiers with China at present in an apparent reference to the heightened border tension with Beijing. The IAF chief said at the moment “no war, no peace” status was holding along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) despite concerted efforts to end the ongoing standoff at several friction points in eastern Ladakh. Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, however, added that the armed forces are prepared for any eventuality and that the Air Force particularly is resolved to counter “any misadventure”.

European defence manufacturer MBDA on Thursday congratulated India over the induction of Rafale fighter jets into the Indian Air Force (IAF). Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of the Armed Forces of France Florence Parly, on Thursday morning, witnessed the traditional `Sarva Dharma Puja` at the Rafale induction ceremony, at Ambala airbase of the IAF. The `Sarva Dharma Puja` involved recitation of hymns, ayats, and mantras by priests of various religions. This puja was followed by an air display of Rafale fighter aircraft flanked by SU-30 and Jaguar aircraft in an arrow formation.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) will formally induct the Rafale jets on Thursday (September 10, 2020) at 10 am, at the Air Force Station in Ambala at Haryana. The aircraft will become a part of the 17 Squadron, the "Golden Arrows". The first five Indian Air Force Rafale aircraft arrived at Air Force Station, Ambala on July 27, 2020.

Parly will be accompanied by sizeable defence officials and a defence industry delegation on a special plane and will have a full day of engagements. This will be the first foreign visit of the French Minister after the COVID measures were put in place in France.

Defence sources told ANI that the induction ceremony would be held after the return of the Defence Minister from Russia where he is scheduled to attend the meeting of the Defence Ministers of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation from September 4 to 6.

Director General of the ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar made the claims at a press conference in which he spoke about various issues concerning Pakistan's internal and external security. When asked about the threat posed to Pakistan by the India's recently purchased Rafale jets, the DG ISPR claimed that they have no doubt on their capability and were 'absolutely ready' for any aggression.

Earlier on August 8, in a continuous effort to disengage peacefully at the LAC, India and China held a Major General-level talk at Daulat Beg Oldi area over the withdrawal of Chinese troops from the Depsang plains in the Ladakh region. IAF has reportedly deployed most of its frontline fighter jets like Sukhoi 30 MKI, Jaguar and Mirage 2000 aircraft in the key frontier air bases in eastern Ladakh and other critical places along the LAC.
