Jailed RJD supremo Lalu Prasad mourned the death of his close aide and former Union minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, who passed away on Sunday.

Former Union minister and veteran RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh died on Sunday (September 13) a day after he was put on a ventilator at New Delhi's AIIMS. Singh was admitted at AIIMS few days ago after developing post-COVID-19 complications. It is to be noted that Singh had resigned from the RJD on Thursday (September 10).

Hours after Raghuvansh Prasad Singh resigned from the RJD, party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday told him that the matter will be discussed. He added that Singh will not take an exit from the party. Ahead of the Bihar Assembly elections, the RJD received a major jolt as Singh resigned from the party.
