The passengers who booked tickets via IRCTC’s payment gateway IRCTC-ipay, will receive their refund immediately after cancelling their ticket. The new arrangements will let passengers book tatkal and regular tickets quickly besides cancelling them. IRCTC has upgraded its user interface along with the IRCTC-ipay feature due to which it is taking less time to book tickets.

The RPF of Indian Railways has disrupted the operation of illegal software called “Real Mango” used for cornering confirmed railway reservation. Field units of RPF have been able to apprehend 50 criminals so far including the Kingpin (system developer) and key managers involved in the operation.
