The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has pasted posters on Friday across Patna demanding the arrest of Madhya Pradesh Minister Vijay Shah for his alleged objectionable remarks against Colonel Sofiya Qureshi. 

The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) contested the election in an alliance with the JMM and Congress. Jharkhand witnessed a keen battle between two national parties, the BJP and the Congress contesting with regional parties like AJSU Party, JMM, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) and RJD. The JMM contested in 43 seats, Congress in 31 and the third partner in the alliance RJD fielded its candidates on seven seats.  

Following the 'lunch date', RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's younger son Tejashwi took to Twitter thanking Rahul.

The development came on a day the Janta Dal (United) wrote to Yadav, asking him to skip the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) rally in Patna on Sunday and asserted that if he attended it, he would be working "against the party's principles".

The Janata Dal (United) (JD-U) on Sunday reiterated their warning to rebel senior party leader Sharad Yadavm saying that he will face action if he attends Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's rally.
