Former Janata Dal United (JDU) President and former Union Minister RCP Singh announced his resignation from JDU after allegations of corruption. He also talked about forming his own party. He said that an attempt was made to malign my image.
Announcing his resignation, RCP Singh called JDU a 'Sinking Ship'
RCP Singh announced to leave the party in a press conference in Mustafapur.
He said, "there is no cure for JDU's jealousy."
RCP Singh quit JD(U) today.
He was sought a reply on corruption allegations by JD(U).

It also suspended state general secretaries Anil Kumar and Vipin Kumar Yadav from primary membership
The party took this action after denying another term in the Rajya Sabha to Union minister RCP Singh
Speaking on the expansion of the cabinet of the Central Government, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that he is not aware of any formula in this matter. Nitish Kumar said that RCP Singh will speak on this issue.
RCP Singh will be the new President of JDU. He will replace Nitish Kumar.
