Under the Bharat Gaurav Scheme of Indian Railways, Shri Ramayana Tourist Train will leave for its 18-day-long expedition from Safdarjung Railway Station on April 7.
The Bharat Gaurav tourist train includes two fine-dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cubicles in the coaches, sensor-based washroom functions and a foot massager.

IRCTC is going to start a special train under Shri Ramayana Yatra from Madurai.
In a bid to promote religious tourism in the country, a special train 'Shri Ramayana Yatra' commenced from Delhi's Safdarjung station which will cover seven destinations related to Lord Ram in the next 17 days.
The first train under the IRCTC Shri Ramayana Yatra packages departed today at 6.30 pm today from Safdarjung Railway Station.
This tour will commence from Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station on November 7 and the tour will be completed in 17 days and it will include around 7,500 km.
The entire train yatra will have all the important places covered that are linked with the life of Lord Shri Ram.
The entire package of IRCTC will cost Rs 82,950 per person.
Named as 'Shri Ramayana Yatra', the circuit will have two travel components - one each in India and Sri Lanka
