Assam on Thursday bade an emotional farewell to its beloved Tarun Gogoi, state's longest-serving chief minister.
His mortal remains were consigned to flames by his son Gaurav Gogoi, amid chanting of hymns, preceded by a gun salute and band played by the Assam Police.

Former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi will be cremated at the Navagraha crematorium ground in Guwahati on November 26.
