The edit function seems to have an `immutable` quality. App researcher Alessandro Paluzzi also tweeted out screenshots of the new edit button. Paluzzi shows how the `Edit Tweet` option could appear in the three-dot menu on the right side of your tweets.

Twitter has tested the content warning feature last year. As with the earlier system, viewers can click "Show" to view the media, and you can`t put warnings on tweet text.

Users will know the feature is available to them when they receive a prompt from the company. A Twitter user looking to send a tip will click one of those services and be taken to the selected app to make their payment.

Trump was banned from Twitter, where he had more than 88 million followers and multiple other social media platforms following the deadly Jan. 6 siege of the US Capitol by his supporters. A Trump representative said they had nothing to do with the suspended accounts, which included @DJTDesk, @DJTrumpDesk, @DeskofDJT and @DeskOfTrump1. Trump plans to launch his own social media platform, an adviser has said.

On its support page, Twitter has confirmed that the emails were genuinely sent by the company but this is not some phishing attack or scam. However, it confirmed that the company accidentally sent that email to users. So don’t panic and do whatever the company has asked you to, i.e., just ignore the email that was sent by Twitter.

The IT Ministry had sent Twitter three notices to block nearly 1,435 accounts that were posting content in relation to the farmer protests in India.

With a new Twitter card format, the company is experimenting with tweets that include a big "Shop" button. This format could potentially come into play as part of Twitter`s larger push to become a creator platform, with its recently announced plans for a "Super Follow" subscription. The new product will allow Twitter users to follow a particular account for subscriber-only perks like newsletters, exclusive content, a supporter badge and other deals and discounts.

The Twitter boss has listed his famous post as a unique digital signature on the website where tweets are sold as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Old offers for the tweet suggest that it was put for sale in December, but the listing gained more attention after Dorsey’s tweet on March 5. NFTs are digital files that serve as digital signatures to certify who owns photos, videos, and other online media.

From now onwards, it will label tweets that include misleading information about coronavirus vaccines. It claims to have removed more than 8,400 tweets and challenged 11.5 million accounts. Vaccines are at the centre of government plans to fight the pandemic that has caused more than 2.6 million deaths to date.

The social media giant hinted that this new feature will be a toggle for users, who will have the option to turn it on in a new "safety mode." Twitter described how the toggle will work if users turn it on, "Automatically block accounts that appear to break the Twitter Rules, and mute accounts that might be using insults, name-calling, strong language, or hateful remarks." The company also has some automated tools in place to remove abusive tweets, and it said in 2019 that it removes more than 50 percent of abusive tweets before users report them.

Twitter users have been asking for an Edit button. Edit would allow to avoid embarrassment when they accidentally send tweets with typos and spelling errors. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has said the Edit button will "probably" never happen.

Twitter users would see brief descriptions added to some trends. The idea is to make Twitter's Trending section feel more like a newspaper experience. Descriptions on trends will be available on twitter.com and Twitter for iOS and Android.

While composing a tweet, one would see a little calendar icon on the bottom row of icons at the bottom of the compose window. Click that and one can specify when the user wants his tweet to be sent.

Twitter plans to make conversation on its platform a little more personal by adding a new feature. According to Twitter's Director of Product Suzanne Xie, the platform has been since 2019 working to give people more control over their conversations starting with the ability to hide replies and so the company has started to test a new functionality which will let a user decide who can reply to tweets and take part in a conversation.

Twitter users can opt out of location-sharing features in its "privacy and safety" menu.
