Bihar CM Nitish Kumar will chair an all-party meeting on the caste-based census in Patna. Bihar minister said almost all parties have been in favour of caste-based census in the state.

Nitish Kumar said he attaches "no importance" to Prashant Kishor's assessment of his performance. Kishor had handled Nitish Kumar's campaign for the 2015 assembly polls. Nitish Kumar did not answer queries on Amit Shah's remark on CAA.

The lone MLA of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) in Bihar Raj Kumar Singh has joined the Janata Dal (United).

 Bihar is likely to witness another round of political drama as 19 of the 27 Congress MLAs have urged Vice President Rahul Gandhi to snap ties with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), at least for the time being, claimed report published in Times of India. 

The Janata Dal (United) (JD-U) on Sunday reiterated their warning to rebel senior party leader Sharad Yadavm saying that he will face action if he attends Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav's rally.

The JD-U, however, demanded that Tejashvi should come out 'clean'.
