Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday (June 3, 2021) reviewed the damage caused by cyclone Yaas.
According to Special Relief Commission Pradeep K Jena, cyclone Yaas has caused infrastructural damage of worth Rs 610 crore.
Class 9 and Class 11 will have sessions from 7 am to 9 am instead of 8:30 am to 10 am.
Similarly, Class 10 and Class 12 will have classes from 9 am to 1 pm instead of 11 am to 4 am.
On Monday, the Odisha govt decided to complete all the final semester exams of UG and PG courses in varsities by Sept 30, and announce results before Oct 31 as per the UGC guideline
The decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of vice-chancellors and principals through video conference
The meeting also decided to conduct a special examination in Dec 2020 for those students who cannot take the exams in Sept due to the COVID-19 pandemic
