In another development, BCCI acting president CK Khanna received requisitions from 10 state units demanding a Special General Meeting at the earliest.

 Taking strong exception to Committee of Administrators's (CoA) decision to stall BCCI's Special General Meeting (SGM) on June 22, acting secretary Amitabh Chaudhary has accused Vinod Rai and Diana Edulji of "trying to prevent the General Body from discussing the decisions taken opaquely and without any authority".

BCCI acting secretary Amitabh Chaudhary on Friday fired a fresh salvo after Kevin Pietersen was picked to deliver the Annual MAK Pataudi Memorial Lecture during its Awards function in Bengaluru on June 12.

At loggerheads with the current set of BCCI office-bearers, the Committee of Administrators (CoA) on Thursday sought their removal, citing the end of their tenures as per BCCI constitution.

The Committee of Administrators (CoA) is expected to meet in Mumbai on Tuesday to discuss a host of issues, including future of the three current honorary office-bearers and women's T20 exhibition matches during the Indian Premier League (IPL).

As of now, Grade A players get Rs 2 crore, Grade B Rs 1 crore and Grade C Rs 50 lakh.

The Committee of Administrators (CoA) in a letter to BCCI Joint Secretary Amitabh Chaudhary on Thursday asserted that it must not hurt the interest of the players in its dispute and demanded an immediate meeting of the selection committee to announce the squad.
